Hi again. A reader asked me why I was starting to ask for money, and I was surprised! I don’t plan to paywall any posts. But Substack sneakily inserted the message below at the end of the last email.

“Clarke College Insight is free today. But if you enjoyed this post, you can tell Clarke College Insight that their writing is valuable by pledging a future subscription. You won't be charged unless they enable payments.”

Ugh! I didn’t choose to include this. I do hope you’ll hire me to advise your family on college admission, but I won’t ask you to pay to read these posts.
